Floor Box for conference rooms, auditoriums and stages
The FL-1000 floor box is designed for conference rooms, auditoriums, stages, etc. with wood or thin tile floors over concrete. This floor box provides a practical solution for cable storage with easy access. The large hinged section of the cover folds back to allow full access to internal cables and connector plates. A smaller hinged trap-door fastens back to create an efficient cable exit. All cables are stored within the box when they are not in use, allowing unencumbered travel in the area. The sturdy 1/8" thick cover is available in different materials: solid brass (antique bronze finish), or steel (black painted finish). The boxes may be ordered in several depths and are shipped complete with internal mounting brackets. The FL-1000 is extremely sturdy (steel and welded construction) and has been designed to fit the needs of audio and video applications.
Note: This box is not applicable for direct contact with grade (soil or gravel). For grade applications, use the FL-GRD2/4 pour pan as a foundation before box installation.
