The Directive on the restriction of the use of hazardous
substances in electrical and economic equipment was
adopted in February 2003 by the European Union. The RoHS directive
took effect on July 1, 2006. This directive restricts the use of six
hazardous materials in the manufacture of various types of electronic
and electrical equipment. It is closely linked with the Waste Electrical
and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE).
FSR has been RoHS compliant since 2006. We strive to be as green as possible by using a lead-free process on our electronics. FSR takes great pleasure in manufacturing products that are both energy efficient and environmentally safe. |

The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive
is the European community directive 2002/96/EC which, together with
the RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC, became European Law in February 2003.
The WEEE regulation sets collection, recycling and recovery targets
for all types of electrical goods. The directive institutes the responsibility
of the disposal of waste electrical and electronic equipment on the
manufacturers of such equipment. FSR is in full compliance with all WEEE regulations. You can always count on FSR for our performance in our products and our environmental responsibility. WEEE Directive 2002/96/EC |
